Umrah is a journey to Makkah and Medina, the two beautiful cities of Saudi Arabia. Yes, it is a trip or pilgrimage to these places, performed by Muslims all around the world. As compared with Hajj, Umrah can be undertaken at any time in the whole year. Well, Umrah means “to visit a populated place”. But in the Sharia, it means to perform Tawaf around the Kaaba and do Sa’i between Al-Safa and Al-Marwah. Moreover, the dress wear during Umrah is, Ihram. A dress that has white color and wear during the Tawaf and Sa’i. In Islam, Umrah is not compulsory but highly recommended.
